Baking bread

Recently I was able to purchase a bread machine at Deseret Industries for only $5. It took me a few tries to get a good loaf of bread to come out of the machine, but now I’m enjoying soft, warm, delicious bread. Here is the recipe that I used, with the ingredients listed in the order I added them:
- 1 + 1/3 cup warm (but not hot) water
- 1 teaspoon Western Family lemonade mix
- 3 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon sugar
- 4 cups bread flour
- 2 teaspoons salt, added to one of the corners before mixing
- 2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk mix
- 3 tablespoons margarine, divided and placed in each of the corners before mixing
- 2 + 1/8 teaspoons of active yeast, placed in a well in the middle of the flour before mixing
