You should try to get to Ft. Steven’s State park while you’re in Oregon. Actually, I think it’s part of a national park now . . . called . . . Lewis and Clark National Park? I can’t remember. It will always be Ft. Steven’s to me.
Have you been to Crater Lake before? I hope so, since you seem to have lived in Oregon. It is gorgeous, but be sure to bring some sunglasses because there will probably be snow up there for most of the summer. It’s no fun to squint the entire time.
And, Tillamook is wonderful. I honestly have a hard time eating when I run out of Tillamook Medium Cheddar. I put it on everything. Last night I bought two bricks of it, just to be safe, to last me through finals. (I don’t have a car, and rely on the chairity of others for trips to the grocery store.)
I haven’t been to crater lake either, i think you should add boston to your list, i know i am super duper behind in reading your blog, i will try and catch up

Yes, I’ve lived in Oregon for 10+ years and I’ve never been to Crater Lake. That is why I’ve finally decided that I need to go.
Tillamook Brown Cow icecream is one of my favorites. Mmmm. The best is when you eat it in their factory icecream store.
I’ve never been to the Grand Canyon, I want to go this year, but it may have to wait until next.

Better late than never. I’m glad you’ve resolved to go to Crater Lake.
Brown Cow just so happens to be the very best ice cream flavor. Ever. Good choice!
