Bottled in Orem, Utah, Howie’s Premium Root Beer is some of the best root beer that you can drink from a 2 liter bottle. Root beer is one of my favorite beverages, and I’ve tried many brands, so don’t take it lightly when I saw that Howie’s Root Beer is great. It is smooth, creamy, with the frosted mug type of taste. It is especially great with ice cream to make root beer floats.
Kevin really likes Howie’s too, having tasted every rootbeer he could find in Utah. There are two type of rootbeer, he tells me:
1) Vanilla-Based
2) Sassafras-Based
Aparently, vanilla-based is the way to go if you want something sweeter. We have an A&W around the corner, which offers a $2 half gallon of rootbeer, another VERY good brand of rootbeer.
Howies is the very best root beer I have ever tasted. It tastes like a root beer float right from the bottle. Problem is I have not been able to buy (find) a bottle of it for the last five or so years. None of the beverage sites even list it anymore. If ole Howie ever wanted to go national with his root beer I would surley consider investing. Not just my humble opinion, but the way others whom I let try the tasty drink feel about it also. Does anyone know if it is available anywhere online?

@Phyllis – You probably should ask someone else about wholesale. I’m just a fan who drinks it whenever I can find it on sale at Macey’s.
