New CD album out for EcEn 313

There is a new musical group in the BYU electrical engineering program. Their name is,
The MidBand, and their new album is called, decibels. Here is a list of track titles:

  2. Induced Comer
  3. The Selfridgister
  4. Bored room analysis
  5. I’ve got a periodic table in my pocket
  6. J-maginary
  7. I’ve got a tackle box, but I ain’t goin’ fishin’ (country rmx)

  11. We’re Comer and Comer

I hear their next album with be greedy with sound quality and be called, Gain.

The Miller Effect

In my electrical engineering class we are learning about the Miller effect.  Someone in the class shared a web page which is suppose to be helpful in understanding the principle.

Microsoft

In one of my computer engineering classes, we were briefly talking about Microsoft. My professor make a comment, “I’ve actually seen some Microsoft software work,” which spurred a debate about what that software could be: minesweeper, paint, or hearts.

Finally, the conversation ended with my professor saying, “I shouldn’t say that, some of you will probably go work for the evil empire.”
