August 2006 has had the most number of visitor and most number of hits that this website has ever had. About 700 of my visitors of the last month have come through Google searches, while 70 visitors came through an article on ProvoPulse.com, also another 40 or so came to the site because I made a post which commented on a recent Google Blog post.
The words BYU and EFY were some of the post used keywords which brought people to my site.
Thank you to everyone who has visited my site.

Well, I just happened to pop over to provopulse.com, and found that a couple of my blog entries were linked to in an article over there. So I thought I would make some comments about whats currently going on with the University Villa situation.
Just after I sent my letter to University Villa, they put notices up on all of our doors saying that they were not held responsible for any damages or losses. This really upset me, especially since it says clearly in at least two places in the contract that they are responsible if the damages or losses are due to negligence.
So I took my letter and all correspondence to the BYU Off-campus Housing Office. They told me they would make some calls to the University Villa management, and suggested I take things to the BYU Center for Conflict Resolution. At the CCR I was given instructions on how to do mediation with the landlord to come to some sort of agreement over things. I won’t rediscuss the issues and my arguments here because they are in some of my other blog entries.
Within a couple days after this, things started to happen. The office finally did place office hours in its window, although my one attempt to find them in the office during their hours resulted in finding the office locked.
Most recently, however, I found out from another resident that they will be offering $40 to each resident that moved. The management hasn’t yet made it official, because they want to come around a talk to residents, or so the rumor goes.
