I've done some interesting things with the side bar, especially the fading comment ticker. I've also found that personally I don't use the archive links very much, so I've collapsed them by default so they don't get in the way, especially after years of archives. Things still don't look right. It is far too cluttered, and I think I need to clean things up. Maybe it is the Google ads. Well, so I’m still fine tuning the site.
